In 2015, the Crisis Intervention Center...

  • Housed 263 women and children through our safe shelter / empowerment program
  • Provided 6,815 nights of safe shelter - An increase of 1953 nights over 2014
  • Fed 20,370 meals to women and their children
  • Answered 692 domestic violence & sexual assault calls through our 24/7 crisis hot line
  • Provided walk-in services to 728 victims of domestic violence / sexual assault - An increase of 100+ since 2013
  • Had 77 children attend our DHS-licensed, on-site daycare
  • 7,000 peoole visited with a CIC Advocate at a community event to receive domestic violence and sexual assault awareness information or training.
  • 48 Women and men received confidential forensic rape exams.
  • 5,454 public school students were taught a Prevention Curriculum in an effort to stop the cycle of violence.
  • 94% success rate for women and their children who did not return to their abuser.
  • 32% of women served secure new jobs.
