The goal of orientation is to teach potential volunteers about the agency’s structure, the programs and services offered, and to help them determine what volunteer opportunity best fits their schedule and interests.
If you are interested in working directly with clients, the Crisis Intervention Center requires volunteer training. Volunteers must complete 5 hours of training and 5 hours of staff shadowing. Volunteer training is available to any potential volunteer who has completed an application and attended Orientation. Training session are scheduled at the volunteer’s convenience for all approved volunteers.
